SANYA KAKKAR

I am a results-driven sales and marketing senior account executive specialising in the Travel Marketing industry. Currently based in London, I hold a masters degree in Media and Communications from the University of Arts London, completed my Bachelor's degree in Journalism from University of Delhi.

I thrive in a fast-paced environment. In my current role, I oversee the marketing and sales of the Saudi Arabia Tourism Board. I represent Saudi for the UK and Ireland markets. I curate innovative marketing strategies and campaigns while leveraging my expertise to drive business growth. I thrive on building meaningful connections and am eager to collaborate on exciting projects within the travel sector.
With a solid foundation in the media strategy development and implementation, in my previous role, I have excelled in managing sales operations and strategic marketing initiatives across diverse properties in the UK and Netherlands.

In my past job experiences, I was responsible for fashion marketing, public relations, branding, media relations, and internal communications with an internship experience of almost 3+ years. Leading PR campaigns inside and outside an agency are my forte, which has led me to expand media coverage of the brand. A track record of accomplishment in media strategy development, management, and implementation, as well as in measuring results across digital and traditional media. Also pitched ideas to the brands, and wrote press releases and news stories. -Built a favourable brand image with customers, prospects, employees and the public. 

 While studying at UAL I am currently doing two internships simultaneously. My favourite one was being a journalist for the United Nations and handling content for South Sudan. The second was, a PR marketing company, where I helped organise events like the Grammys 2023, pitching to influencers. One of my clients, Kokomo, got featured in Forbes and Today!
